Detroit Planting

In April/May 2024, Creating Habitats for Pollinators (CHP) prepared and planted ~5,000 sq. ft. of wildflowers at the Marjorie Street Community Garden in Detroit. The plantings included a combination of dedicated wildflower habitat as well as pollinator strips for fruit and vegetable plantings.  Community members helped with the site prep, seeding, and maintenance of the site.
